FAQ’s
What areas do you cover?
We can install our conservatories to homes throughout Witney, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Warwickshire and surrounding counties. However, if you want to know whether we can install in your area, then contact us today.
What is the difference between conservatories and orangeries?
This is one of the most common questions. Although they may look the same, they’re actually constructed very differently.
Orangeries tend to have a brick based structure with large windows and a flat roof with or without a glass lantern.
Conservatories tend to have many factors such as fully glazed structure with a low brick base, where the roof and walls are a higher percentage of glass. They also need to have a standalone heating source that is separate from the main house.
Can a conservatory add value to my property?
A conservatory can certainly add value to the property, ideal, if you’re looking to sell in the distant future. Although we can’t specify by how much, it’s usually estimated between 5-12%.
What are your conservatories made from?
Our conservatories come in uPVC, timber and aluminium, all of which can be colour customised and altered to suit your specifications. It should also be noted that all of them will be installed with the latest security features and constructed using high quality materials.
uPVC is so flexible that the customisation is almost limitless. Visually appealing, uPVC conservatories will look as good in ten years as they did today, with the added perk of being low maintenance.
Timber conservatories are ideal for homeowners who are looking for the traditional look of high quality timber. They’re installed with care by our trained and experienced craftsman, ensuring that you get a dedicated service.
Aluminium conservatories are long lasting and require little maintenance, making them perfect for homeowners with busier lifestyles or who simply don’t want the timely upkeep. They’re weather resistant, and don’t rot or warp and can be customised in any RAL colour.
