Our Timber Windows
If you’re looking to add a sense of traditional style to your home, then timber windows might be for you. These classic profiles will not only add character and charm to your home, but are also built to stand the test of time. They’re durable, long lasting and above all perform exceptionally well.
Made of natural wood, our timber windows deliver a high thermal resistance, which not only helps prevent heat loss within the home but also prevents condensation too!
01
Highly Durable
Our finest timber windows can be crafted with strength in mind. Made to last for several years, these can be repaired over time instead of being replaced.
02
Thermal Insulation
Unlike other man made windows, timber is a natural insulator. This makes it ideal for the winter months, as they can retain the heat within the home.
03
Added Value
Visually eye pleasing, these traditional windows can add value to your property. Whether you’re looking to sell in the future or not.

FAQ’s
Do my wooden windows require trickle vents?
Regardless of the material, to comply with the new building regulations that came into effect on 15th June 2022, all new installations must have a trickle vent. This allows for fresh air to circulate throughout the property and whilst eliminating mould causing pollutants from the atmosphere.
Are timber windows expensive?
Although wooden windows have a higher cost upfront, this balances out over time as they can last for several years longer than aluminium and uPVC, which have a lower upfront cost by comparison.
How do I clean my wooden frames?
Although they’re made of wood, our frames are surprisingly easy to clean. Generally speaking, they only ever really need cleaning twice a year. When they do need a wipe down, all you need is a damp cloth and some mild soapy water. No need for any harsh abrasives or chemicals.
How long can my timber windows last for?
When proper care is applied, an average timber window can last for up to 60 years! These are greatly different from man made windows that will have an average lifespan of between 10-30 years. Making them a great investment.
Are timber windows better than uPVC?
This is truly subjective to the customer. However, timber windows are perfect for customers looking to invest in a more classic window that will last for several years and can deliver amazing thermal insulation. Windows made from plastic are still a great, cost effective alternative and can be coloured to match the traditional appearance that wooden windows have.
Can I change the colour of my timber windows?
If you’re looking to give the overall appearance of your windows a simple uplift or just want to keep up with the latest trends, timber windows can simply be repainted or stained as per customer tastes dictate. This is unlike other man-made windows.
Are timber windows environmentally friendly?
Our timber windows are very environmentally friendly. Not only can they last for many, many years but due to their natural insulating properties, these can help minimise your impact on the environment by influencing your use on energy consumption. Also very handy if you’re looking to reduce those monthly bills too!
